There is currently a vacancy at Rowe Partners Financial Planning for a Financial Advisor Assistant.
Rowe Partners Financial Planning is a new, busy and growing division of Rowe Partners Accountants, a successful mid-tier South Australian accounting practice est. in 1989. We are client centred and forward-thinking, always seeking to provide our clients with the highest standard of service and advice.
Rowe Partners employs over 45 staff in offices located at Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Modbury and Murray Bridge. We aim to provide clients with a comprehensive range of financial in-house services and expertise. Identifying a need to expand our offering to meet growing client demand saw the launch of Rowe Partners Financial Planning. We have teamed up with GPS Wealth Ltd, one of Australia’s leading Financial Services providers, as Authorised Corporate representatives (1262602), to significantly raise the bar in financial planning services.
We’re super busy and need the help of experienced and dedicated financial services professional to join us as a Financial Advisor Assistant!

The Financial Advisor Assistant will be mentored by a highly experienced, Senior Financial Planner. However, your ability to learn quickly and work autonomously will serve you well. You will work with the Senior Financial Planner our Accountants and the team at GPS Wealth Ltd to deliver exceptional services and develop financial plans strategically designed to help clients meet their financial objectives.
Ideally, you should have:
5 years plus experience in a client service management role in a financial services environment
Solid technical knowledge of financial planning strategies and the advice process
Qualifications (or studying) in Financial Planning
Experience in preparation of financial planning documentation for client meetings
The ability to interpret and expand advisor financial strategy notes for submission to our paraplanners
Experience in pre-populating client forms, implementing financial plans and client record maintenance.
A strong understanding of workflows, time management and the ability to prioritise your tasks to meet deadlines
Attention to detail, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
An in-depth knowledge of XPlan, common financial services industry software and MS Office
Experience in preparing insurance quotes and the ability to research and analyse financial products including superannuation, investments and insurance policies
An understanding of and the ability to monitor our work to ensure compliance and regulatory obligations are met
Confidence to liaise with a range of internal and external service providers
Salary package commensurate with skills and experience will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
